This pool refurbishment in Heathersett began with stripping out the existing ground and resolving long-standing drainage problems, with a new sump and pump tank, fresh drainage pipes and redundant chambers removed to improve water flow. A quality membrane and a Type 1 sub-base were laid to create a solid foundation before the team installed the new surround. The porcelain paving was hand-cut and bull-nosed around the pool's edge for a clean, safe finish, and the photos show a discreet linear drainage channel set into the paving. A new gate and fencing in metal and composite materials enclose the pool area.
The completed surround wraps the mosaic-tiled pool in pale, large-format porcelain that feels bright, spacious and easy underfoot. The bull-nosed edges follow the pool's curved steps neatly, while the smart fencing and traditional brick pool house give the space a polished, resort-like feel. It is a calm, low-maintenance setting built for relaxing and entertaining. See more of our patios and paving work.
