Sunken Fire Pit & Patio Paving | Norfolk

What was done

This luxury garden feature centred on a bespoke sunken seating area, requiring careful excavation and drainage to create a level, well-drained entertaining space below the lawn. The photos show the build progressing from rendered retaining walls and a stepped descent through to the finished paving, with a central fire pit feature topped in dark stone and set with gas flame troughs. Full Garden Landscaping & Paving | Stoke Ferry, Norfolk

What was done

This complete transformation in Stoke Ferry turned an outdoor space into a low-maintenance entertaining garden. The team handled all groundworks and drainage, including a 400mm sub-base and precise grading for seamless transitions between surfaces. Smooth porcelain pavers were laid and connected by Kota limestone setts, with decorative gravel and concrete edging giving crisp definition. To enclose and finish the space, brick walls and an automatic gate were installed. Premium materials were paired with careful construction throughout.

The finished look

The finished garden has a high-end, architectural feel: pale porcelain squares are separated by neat gravel-filled joints and limestone setts, creating a smart grid that wraps around the house and links to the gravel driveway. Brick walls and the automatic gate add privacy and kerb appeal, while the decorative gravel keeps maintenance low. The aerial views show a tidy, well-defined layout ready for dining and relaxing. Rustic Pond Area & Sandstone Patio | Attleborough, Norfolk

What was done

This complete garden overhaul in Attleborough started from a tired lawn and old pond, and was rebuilt into a relaxed, characterful space. The team laid a new Raj blend Indian sandstone patio, shaping it around sweeping lawns and a newly enlarged pond fitted with armoured electrics. The pond was finished with a generous pebble surround and block-paved edging to the grass. New fencing was installed along the side using concrete posts and concrete gravel boards with close-board panels, and fresh turf completed the planted areas.

The finished look

The finished garden has a warm, rustic feel: the riven sandstone shows natural variation in tone that deepens beautifully when wet, while the curving lawns and pebble-ringed pond give the layout a soft, organic flow. Block-edged turf and crisp new fencing tie the space together, and the aerial views show how the patio, lawns and water feature work as one cohesive design. Browse more of our garden landscaping.

Did Someone Say Curves? | Wymondham, Norfolk

What was done

After two other companies told the customer that curved porcelain was impossible to cut and lay, the team took on the challenge in Wymondham. They laid a large smoke grey porcelain patio that sweeps around the house and out toward the garden in a bold curved shape, edged throughout with a dark slate sett border that follows every curve cleanly. Recessed drainage chamber lids were also fitted, infilled with the same porcelain so the access points blend almost invisibly into the patio rather than showing as plastic covers.

The finished look

The result is a striking, contemporary surface. The smoke grey porcelain has a subtle linear grain and a smart, consistent tone, while the slate sett border traces the sweeping curves to give the whole patio a deliberate, designed feel. The recessed lids sit flush and discreet, keeping the look uninterrupted while preserving easy access to the drainage chambers below. Wrapping neatly from the side path around to the main seating area, it is a clean, low-maintenance space that makes the most of the garden. A confident piece of paving and landscaping.

Porcelain Patio & Artificial Grass | Spixworth

What was done

In Spixworth we replaced a tired, uneven lawn with a smart new outdoor space combining a sleek grey porcelain patio and a low-maintenance artificial grass lawn. The patio was laid in large-format light grey porcelain, finished with a striking inset border in contrasting dark paving that frames a seating zone beside the house. A neat shingle margin runs along the brickwork, and the planting beds are retained with timber sleeper edging to keep the lawn and borders clean and defined.

The finished look

The result is a crisp, contemporary garden that works hard all year round. The pale porcelain reflects the light and stays clean underfoot, while the dark border detail adds a designer touch around the dining and lounging area. With a mud-free lawn and tidy planted edges, it’s an easy-care space that’s ready to enjoy whatever the Norfolk weather — ideal for family life and entertaining.

Honey Limestone Patio | Old Buckenham, Norfolk

What was done

Just outside Old Buckenham we created a warm natural-stone patio for a lovely couple. The work started with removing the old timber decking, then installing KL kerbs around the outer edge to retain the patio, followed by a properly compacted sub-base. We then laid honey limestone — a natural stone where no two slabs are alike — across a generous area, including a raised circular patio feature edged with a curved brick wall and a charcoal sett border. A matching sett step links the levels neatly back to the house.

The finished look

The finished patio has a soft, golden, characterful feel that suits the rustic property beautifully. The mix of warm limestone tones, the reclaimed-look brick circle and the dark sett edging gives the space real depth and a timeless country-garden charm. It’s a spacious, inviting area for sitting out and entertaining, framed by the surrounding gravel and planted borders.

Decking Meets Porcelain | Spooner Row, Norfolk

What was done

In Spooner Row we transformed an outdoor space by removing a small existing patio and replacing it with beautiful Italian carbon porcelain tiles, edged with crisp slate borders. Alongside the paving we had smoke oak Millboard decking installed, creating a raised composite deck for furniture and lounging. To finish, we added box hedging to separate the new area from the existing path, giving the layout clear definition.

The finished look

The combination of warm grey-toned composite decking and dark Italian porcelain makes for a stylish, contemporary entertaining area that sits comfortably against the brick property. The slate edging and clipped hedging keep everything looking sharp and intentional, while the decked zone offers a relaxed spot for seating. The result is a spacious, low-maintenance and inviting space for relaxing and hosting outdoors.

Complete Front To Back | Northwold, Norfolk

What was done

This was a full front-to-back transformation in Northwold. Despite frequent bad weather, we completed extensive groundworks including two new soakaways, removing the old boundary wall, and raising the lawn and cesspit chamber to a new level. We then laid around 120m² of beautiful ivory cream porcelain paving, built raised sleeper planters and retaining walls, and extended the driveway — fitting gravel grids at the entrance to stop stone migration.

The finished look

The completed garden is bright, generous and beautifully ordered, with the pale ivory porcelain flowing across multiple levels and through a striking shingle-channel inset. The timber sleeper planters add warmth and useful growing space, while the contrasting dark sett edging frames the paving against fresh lawn. Out front, the extended gravel-grid driveway gives clean, practical parking. Front and back, it’s a genuine “wow” difference for the homeowners.

Naturally Beautiful Limestone Patio

What was done

Over a few weekends our team laid a natural limestone patio and a connecting pathway running down the side of the property to a new timber gate. The work involved excavating and preparing the ground, with a mini digger used on site to dig out and level the area before the slabs were set. The pale natural stone was laid with neat, deliberate straight edges, and a matching path links the rear patio area to the side passage between the brick walls. A solid timber gate was fitted to close off the side access.

The finished look

The completed patio sits flush against the bi-fold doors and the bungalow’s brickwork, giving a clean, usable surface right outside the living space. As the client notes, limestone shifts character with the weather, turning a deep near-black when wet and a lighter shade when dry, so no two slabs look quite the same. The straight-edged layout gives a tidy, contemporary frame to the garden, and the new timber gate adds privacy and a warm natural contrast to the cool stone.

Steps & Path | Taverham, Norfolk

What was done

We completed the front steps and pathway at a property in Taverham using Marmo anthracite porcelain paving. The path sweeps from the driveway to the front door in a gentle curve, edged with a charcoal block border that defines its shape against the surrounding decorative gravel. A set of low steps up to the front door was constructed using KL kerbs to form the risers, with the dark porcelain laid across the treads. Before shots show the original block paving and steps that were lifted and replaced.

The finished look

The dark anthracite porcelain gives the front of the property a crisp, contemporary entrance that works beautifully against the navy cladding and pale render. The flowing curved path and tidy block edging create a welcoming approach for visitors, while the gravel surround keeps the scheme low-maintenance. Wet or dry, the deep grey tone stays smart and uniform, lifting the whole frontage.
